Liliana Rodriguez

Liliana has more than 20 years of experience in developing, producing, and implementing biological control strategies in agriculture. Her experience includes the production and use of Trichoderma harzianum, Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, and Purpureocilium lilacinus in different crops, including coffee, palm oil and cut flowers. Her efforts in developing the technology for the use of the predatory mites Phytoseiulus persimilis and for the control of Tetranychus urticae in ornamentals were a fundamental contribution to the establishment of the biological control industry in Colombia.
